Now THIS is a very well behaved dog! He/she sat on the edge of the pool just staring at this little girl’s ice cream cone until she gave him/her the okay to have a taste. The dog ever so gently licked at the ice cream as the girl held the cone. This image is from today’s Bow Wow Pool Party at JFK Pool in Pottsville, Pa. A fun time was had by all!

Back to the “Big Air” competition at the Keystone Dock Dog event at Cabela’s in Hamburg, Pa. a few weekends ago. I watched and photographed for a couple of ‘waves’ of competition and the longest jump that I saw was over 26 feet! Now that’s a long jump! I’m not sure what the record is, but I was pretty impressed!

Just playing with my Lensbaby and some textures on this rainy Saturday afternoon. This image began with a Lensbaby macro shot of a white coneflower converted to black and white with Nik software. Then a purple texture was added and finally a design texture on top.
