I revisited my images from Pawsabilities 2014 – an event in Harrisburg, Pa. that benefits Susquehanna Service Dogs.  SSD trains and provides service and hearing dogs to children and adults with disabilities.  It’s a wonderful event where dogs and their families come to complete in the many doggie Olympics, watch flyball and dock diving, learn about SSD, participate in costume contests, and generally have a dog-gone good time!  I’ll provide info about the 2015 event as the date draws closer!  In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog puppy who was having a grand time at this year’s event!

He hasn’t won ribbons, he doesn’t know any tricks, heck, he doesn’t even have his own Facebook page, but he’s my little superstar!  Brewster waits in the window for me to come home from work or whatever my latest weekend adventure has been.  He patiently sits while I eat dinner, answer e-mail and edit photos.  Then, as I sit down later in the evening to relax and read or watch TV, he jumps up onto my lap in a heartbeat … just wanting to be close to me.  I love knowing that my little Siamese cats need me as much as I need them!  🙂

What’s even better than swimming in the big pool with all of my doggie friends?  Being dried in a warm towel and snuggling with my mom afterward!
