Stopping Along the Way

This image is from last Fall in Cape May, NJ. The little boy was running through the grass with his mom on the way to the beach when he stopped along the way to pick some flowers. I processed a super soft image with a sharp one to create this effect.
Betsy,
A couple of hours ago my wife and I drove past that barn you photographed at the intersection of rtes 895 and 61. It burned to the ground this evening. I didn’t have a camera with me, darn it.
I was going to say that your sandwich, Orton Effect or whatever you call it is a lot softer than mind but you must have taken the soft image to very soft as you said. I like it. It has a very nice feel to it which I think is even further helped by the black and white.
Dale – I read about the barn in the newspaper – so tragic. I wonder if the owners will rebuild it?
Ed – thanks for your comments Ed.
