Thanks to the line of poles on the left and the narrow country road, my eye is led right into this scene and straight to the barns in this landscape image from Lancaster County, Pa. Below is the original image before I converted it to black and white. Have you ever seen SO much green? To think this was shot at the end of July when we were having a serious heat wave and very little rain!

Hey dog fans….can you help me identify this breed? I think this dog has the sweetest face EVER. Um…..do I say that about EVERY dog photo I post? Yup, pretty much! 🙂 I am finishing up my Burlington County Kennel Club show web pages and am not sure what breed this beautiful dog is. I always list the breed name under each photo, so I need your help! All opinions welcome! Thanks!

I spent a good portion of the day processing dog images and found some new favorites along the way. If you’ve ever questioned whether dogs have the ability to smile, just take a look at this Pug. A good scratch under the chin is enough to make any dog smile! He’s loving this! Closed eyes, tongue sticking out and a big Pug mug smile!

I really wish I had an interesting story to go along with all of the dog photos that I post, but I most often don’t. The images are all candid, captured as I find them.
Doxies are a favorite breed – especially the long-haired variety!

I don’t know ANY dogs that aren’t happy campers when they have their ears scratched! This Golden Retriever was no exception. As soon as his owner would stop scratching, he would look up at him with those big brown eyes and put his head underneath the man’s hand to ask for more! Don’t you just love the look of contentment and big smile on his face?!
