Cashew & Sophia
Posted on November 3, 2010 in Animals, Pet Photography
When I started to plan my pet photography class, I knew that I wanted some classroom time, but also an outdoor photo shoot where we could practice photographing pets, hopefully with some brilliant Fall color as a backdrop. Not knowing in advance if the students would have pets that they could bring, I made arrangements to have a couple friends and their dogs on “stand by” in case I needed more models! 🙂 As it turned out, we had 3 students bring dogs to photograph, my friends Glenn and Trudy brought their dog to join the fun, PLUS, we met some new friends at the park! Among those new furry friends are Cashew and Sophia. They were out for a morning walk with their owner and stopped to say hello. Cashew is the Corgi and Sophia the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have to say, these are two of my favorite breeds. To have one of each as a pet would be a dream to me! They were so adorable together and both were great models! You can absolutely tell that Cashew is a show dog just by the ease with which he struck a pose by the log cabin at the park. What a handsome boy! Sophia is a little bundle of fur and a very happy dog. Her fluffy tail just never stopped wagging! I’m happy to say that I’ve been asked to teach my Pet Photography class again next Spring, so watch the Lehigh Carbon Community College [Schnecksville, Pa.] website/course catalogue for dates and times. I’ll be sure to post more information when it becomes available. Below are 2 more images of Cashew and Sophia! CUTE!
