There was lots of ‘puppy love’ at the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club show last month. In the blog image, a Powder Puff Chinese Crested gets a smooch from her handler.
This Valentine’s Day weekend, don’t forget to spoil your pets with extra love, treats, and toys!

I’m not sure, but the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club show last month just might have been the first show for this Japanese Chin puppy. It was so cute to watch as the handler coaxed the little one around the ring….all the while the puppy just wanted to sit down or play! Now that I’m posting these photos, I’m having one of those moments where I wish I would have photographed the puppy and handler in their attempt to impress the judge. I don’t think they need fret as I’m sure the judge, like everyone else watching, fell in love with this sweet puppy as he ‘learned the ropes’ at the show! The photo below says it all….he’s sticking his tongue out as if to say, “Phooey on this dog show stuff….let’s go visit the toy vendor!”

It was love at first woof when I saw this little guy!! Adult Corgi’s are adorable….puppy Corgi’s are to die for! I think he’s saying, “Someday I WILL grow into these ears!” Will you look at those short little legs? Soooo cute! Another image is below!

Picture the elegance and grace of an Afghan hound with their long silky fur that just dances as they move. They are spectacular to watch in the show ring. Now take a look at the blog image. Yes, this is an Afghan hound….puppy version! The hair has not yet grown to the length of a mature dog. Despite their larger size, they are ‘all hair’ and as adults only weigh between 50 and 60 lbs. The owner of this dog mentioned that the puppies were currently about 35 pounds. I never tire of admiring this beautiful stately breed.
