Brush Me

Do you recognize this breed? It’s not one that I’ve posted photos of very often. This is an Anatolian Shepherd Dog. This breed is a member of the Working Group and is a guard dog with a superior ability to protect livestock. They originated in Turkey more than 6,000 years ago and came to the United States during the 1950’s. They have a sweet face and as you can see, this pooch enjoys getting brushed!
I think the breeds that protect livestock are so neat! Some of the stories are amazing. This guy is such a ham, just wanna give him a big hug, or brush him! That reminds me I should get to brushing those winter coats off Buster and Stella!
