Here’s an image of Jessy Sutton and Brittany, “Junior” [GCH CH Carrolltons Count Lancelot] after a Group One win at the Delaware County Kennel Club show in York, Pa. on Saturday. JR was exhuberant and all I could imagine was him saying, “Hey! I’m down here! Don’t just congratulate Jessy! Shake my paw, too! Helllooooo!” Congratulations Jessy and JR!

It was St. Patrick’s Day and Best in Show at the Delaware County Kennel Club show went to Clancy, an Irish Terrier! How fitting is that? I remember sitting ringside when the Terrier Group was in the ring. The word I used to describe Clancy at the time was attentive. He would catch a glimpse and focus on a person walking past the ring and never took his eyes off of them. I was starting to think that they must have some mighty good food that he was looking at, but no…he was just that attentive to the activity going on around him. What an impressive dog! Congratulations Clancy and handler Adam Bernardin.

I went to the Delaware County Kennel Club show in York, Pa. on Saturday – what a fun time! This is a large 5-day show with rings in 3 different buildings. I spent my day in the Toyota arena, visiting with friends and photographing lots of dogs. This little Pomeranian stole my heart the second I saw that sweet little face! If you and/or your dog were at this show on Saturday, drop me a line and I’ll look to see if I have any photos to share!
