Furry Black Mice Rule

So focused on his favorite furry black mousie! This is one of my favorite breeds – the Tibetan Spaniel, or “Tibbie”. They are a member of the non-sporting group, so I’m not sure how many REAL mousies this little pup has had a chance to chase, but it sure looks as if he would like to have this faux mouse! Tibbies are mainly bred as companion animals and watchdogs and are one of 3 breeds native to Tibet from the non-sporting group. The other two are the Tibetan Terrier and Lhasa Apso. Back in the day [oh around 1100 BC] they were prized pets in the Tibetan monasteries where they would sit on the walls and keep watch over the countryside. They were first brought to the United States in 1965 and are wonderful family pets who love to be with their people!
