Siamese cats are known for their intelligence and my “meezers” are no exception! They outsmart me on a daily basis! When it came time for their Halloween photos, they were having no part of the cute costumes that I bought for them. We had two photo shoots and both resulted in nothing more than “outtakes”! So, for their first Halloween in their forever home, Brewster and Savannah’s “official” holiday photo (above) shows them looking adorable in their festive scarves, but minus their costumes. Below are some of the outtakes from their adventures being dressed as Cookie Monster, Big Bird and a jester. Maybe we’ll be more successful for the Christmas photo shoot, but I have a feeling that the meezers may decide otherwise!

Sometimes the choice for composing an image isn’t landscape or portrait layout, but somewhere in between. I love taking shots at different angles. Who says you have to pay attention to rules in photography???

Here’s another of my most favorite breeds – the Glen of Imaal Terrier. I just love their adorable little ears! I noticed when watching the breed judging at the Devon Kennel Club show earlier this month that when they are going around the ring, their ears go back and it almost looks like the ears are on the back of their head. I don’t know a better way to describe it and maybe someone who is more familiar with the breed can explain. They are just so stinkin’ cute! I tried rather unsuccessfully to take a photo of what I’ve described – here’s a look:

Can you ever have too many wand toys with red feathers? Not if you’re a cat!! At the Liberty Trail Cat Fanciers show this past weekend, Judge Gary Veach was showing the equivalent of the ‘down and back’ in the dog show world as he had this sweet cat going back and forth across his judging table chasing the wand toys. Allowing the cats to play, chase toys, and climb the sisal post allows the judge to see the cats movement and personality.

This little kitten was winning everyone’s heart at the Liberty Trail Cat Fanciers Show in Easton, Pa. He is a little bundle of snow white fur with gigantic blue eyes!
It was love at first purr!
