Reserve Best in Show at The National Dog Show Presented by Purina was Scottish Deerhound GCh Foxcliffe Chelsea Piers, “Chelsea”, handled by Angela Lloyd. Unfortunately awarding of Reserve BIS wasn’t shown on TV on Thanksgiving. Chelsea is a daughter of the wonderful Scottish Deerhound, Hickory, who won Best in Show at Westminster in 2011, also handled by Angela Lloyd.

Congratulations to Larry Cornelius and Charlie (GCH CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie) on winning Best in Show at The National Dog Show Presented by Purina. One of my most favorite dogs ever! If you missed watching the show on NBC yesterday, it will re-air tonight (Friday, 11/27) from 8:00 – 10:00 PM.

It’s a Thanksgiving tradition! No, not turkey and football! The National Dog Show on NBC! Immediately following the Macy’s parade at noon, tune in to watch your favorite breeds compete for Best in Show. Hosts David Frei and John O’Hurley will provide expert commentary as the judges make their selections in the Working, Terrier, Toy, Herding, Sporting, Non-Sporting, and Hound Groups! I can’t wait to watch and cheer on my favorite dogs!
