I saw the lighthouse as I was driving in to Cape May, NJ.  The GPS was programmed with a destination of Cape May Point, NJ, which is a nature area that includes the lighthouse.  When the GPS said we had reached our destination, there was no lighthouse to be found.  How can you lose something THAT big?  It’s 157 feet tall! Thankfully just a quick few blocks away was this majestic structure, which, by the way, is still operational.  Visitors can climb the 199 stairs to the top for an exceptional few of the peninsula.  Definitely a “bird’s eye” view!
