Blowin’ in the Wind
Posted on May 10, 2010 in Animals, Pet Photography
Let the grooming begin! The wind on Saturday was outrageous! Wind gusts threatened to pull down tents at the Bucks County Kennel Club Dog Show in Erwinna, Pa. All day long workers kept an eye on the stakes holding the tents down while the dog handlers and groomers worked feverishly to ensure that the dogs looked their best for the show. Bathing, shampooing, blow drying, brushing, combing …. all to be undone by the first wind gust! Here the Chinese Crested seems to love the feel of the wind blowing through it’s hair…what little hair it has! Chinese Crested’s come in two varieties – hairless and powder puff. This is the hairless variety which sports hair on the head, tail and around the feet, but no where else!
Love, love, love your animal pictures.
Keep up the good work!
Sandy
