Yesterday the Bucks County Kennel Club held a Match Show at Mercer Museum/Fonthill in Doylestown.  The rain may have kept attendance a bit light, but it certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of the dogs and humans that were there!  It was so fun to see the dogs braving the steady rain to strut their stuff for the judges.  I wasn’t sure what to expect from my images as I was holding an umbrella while trying to protect my camera gear and still hoping for some nice shots.  All in all I am pleased with the images…this is a favorite.  I think this little guy is standing under his handler and hoping to keep dry!  This was a good exercise in photographing in ‘less than perfect’ weather and lighting conditions, so I’m very happy that I went to the show.  I hope all of the dogs were treated to a nice warm bubbly bath and extra treats when they got home last night!  🙂
