Have you ever seen this breed in person?  This is a Curly-Coated Retriever  –  a member of the Sporting Group.  Their tight curls are water resistant, weather resistant and protect them when they are hunting in the field.  What is interesting about their coat is that there are areas where it is NOT curly – like on the forehead, face, front of the legs and feet!  They are a very active, intelligent and proud dog!  I think that this image nicely captures the look of elegance and pride of this very pretty dog!  On another topic, I have designed a new logo for my website – similar to the previous one – but this one I designed myself from start to finish.  I’m in the process of applying it to all pages of my website and uploading.  That may take a while, so if you happen to visit my site and see some pages with the old logo and some with the new, understand that it’s a work in progress!
