An All-American

The Boston Terrier is truly an all-American dog!  The breed was developed in the stables of Boston, Massachusetts and is a cross between an American Bulldog and a White English Terrier.  They were formerly called American Bull Terriers but the name was changed in 1891 to reference the city where they originated.  This little pup has such an innocent expression!
