Colonial Industrial Quarter

Historic Moravian Bethlehem, Pa. is proud to have two national historic landmarks. One is the 1762 Waterworks located in the Colonial Industrial Quarter. The Waterworks is America’s first pumped municipal water system. The Industrial Quarter is situated alongside the Monocacy Creek and was at one time home to a tannery, blacksmith, dye house, mill, and springhouse. Tours are offered by appointment but the grounds are open for visitors to view the historic architecture and imagine what life was like back when hard work was conducted in these buildings by the Moravians to support the growing community.
Lovely shot Betsy! I enjoy all of your shots of the town, but this one in particular really makes me want to make a visit down there just to explore and photograph!
