I love watching greyhounds run around the show ring … and run they can! They are the fastest of all dog breeds and very graceful! There are a number of greyhound rescues in my area and as a result, this breed is one that I often see as family pets. Thank goodness! I don’t agree with dog racing [or horse racing for that matter!] and am so thankful that there are groups who find wonderful homes for retired greyhounds! This photo is from the Bucks County Kennel Club show last weekend in Erwinna, Pa.

The first outdoor dog show of the season for me is always so much fun! The dogs enjoy the fresh air and having so many new scents to sniff! The crowds come out to enjoy the Spring weather and camaraderie of seeing old and new friends. A good time was had by all at the Bucks County Kennel Club show yesterday in Erwinna, Pa. Congratulations to all of the winners! Here’s an adorable Beagle that I photographed during breed judging. Love those velvety ears!
