Afghan Hounds are stunning!  I love the movement of their fur as they glide around the ring!  This image is from a show last summer in Pennsylvania.  I can hardly wait for the outdoor show season to begin!

“Oh granny, what big ears you’ve got!” is a sentence from the fairy tale, “Little Red Riding Hood”.  This could be said as well for the Pharaoh Hound.  What a beautiful breed – so graceful and regal.  An interesting characteristic of this breed is that they blush when they are excited or happy and their nose and ears turn a deep rose color.

 I finally met Rupert in person!   I created an ad for him last year and have been following his escapades via his mom and dad’s Facebook page every since.  It was great to finally see him in action at the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club match show last weekend!  He did not disappoint!   (P.S.  Below is his ad)
