Uh-oh, it’s going to be an awfully long winter.  I’m already missing the outdoor dog show season and it’s been only a few weeks since I photographed some adorable pups at the Palisades Kennel Club Show in Augusta, NJ.  The Cocker Spaniels are always on the top of my list of breeds to watch in the ring.  Love this breed!

Did I hear you say COOKIE?

Congratulations to Scarlet, “GCh Skypoint’s Our River Runs Free”, on winning Best of Breed yesterday at the Palisades Kennel Club Show in Augusta, NJ.  She is so much fun to watch in the ring with handler, Cliff Steele.  She also won Best of Breed Friday!  Whoo hoo!  Love this girl!

I believe this is English Cocker Spaniel, Gordon, with Larry Cornelius at the Devon Kennel Club Show in Ludwig’s Corner, Pa. last weekend.  Can anyone confirm?  Such a sweet happy expression!

Always near the top of American Kennel Club registrations is the Labrador Retriever.  Who doesn’t love this happy-go-lucky, gentle and intelligent breed?
