Two of a Kind

Photographing dogs is tough – especially when they want to wiggle and not sit still. Photographing more than one dog at the same time and getting them to sort of “pose” when you are taking candid photos is even harder. These two Powder Puff Chinese Crested dogs were sitting and waiting to go into the show ring. I was using my 200mm lens and was a distance away just photographing them until finally they both looked in the same direction. Do you prefer the ears trimmed or not trimmed? The un-trimmed version reminds me of a Papillion. The other variety of Chinese Crested is the Hairless variety – they only have hair on their head, tail and feet and none on their bodies. For today’s trivia….hair on the head is called a crest, hair on the tail is called a plume and hair on the feet is called socks. 🙂
