“Hey! Does anyone know how to drive a golf cart? I need a ride to the Best in Show ring! Help! My paws don’t reach the pedals or else I would give it a whirl!”

Cats love to climb and scratch on sisal posts. Not only do they help groom their nails, but they also give them a chance to stretch after a long nap! My cats always loved their sisal posts. I have several that are attached to cat trees and have spots for napping, climbing, and playing. At the Cat Shows there is usually a sisal post attached to each judging table. The cats are always attracted to the post and while they are distracted and climbing, the judge has a good opportunity to examine their body and coat. This pretty cat was taking full advantage of some play time!

After the weekend snowstorm, the trees were glistening in the early morning light on Sunday. Some were drenched in heavy wet snow and others were already bare. I loved looking up at the tree patterns against the blue sky. It’s hard to believe that just a few days ago the world looked like a winter wonderland and today it was nearly 60 degrees outside. Things are looking up – at least for the time being – and hopefully those who are still without power will have it restored very soon!
