Foggy and Frozen
Posted on January 30, 2013 in Landscape, Nature, Winter
There were so many different elements going on at the lake today. It was extremely foggy and mild, with temperatures in the mid to upper 50’s. Crazy for January in Pennsylvania! The fog was moving quickly, weaving in and out of the trees and over the frozen lake. Cracks in the ice made some interesting patterns close to the shore line and oak leaves were frozen in time, just beneath the surface of the ice. Every few minutes the landscape would change as more or less fog enveloped the landscape. The warm and cool tones of this scene perfectly depict the day.
A tremendous image Betsy. Nice to see you remember how to shoot something other than a dog! 🙂
Thanks John. Every now and then something without fur inspires me! 🙂
