Under the mistletoe … or … Happy New Year?! Savannah was feeling extra loving this holiday season and was seen giving her brothers kisses during one of our Christmas photo sessions. I think she was secretly asking them to save her from having to sit on the fluffy blanket to have her photo taken yet again! Do you think they will be celebrating at midnight tonight with more kisses? If there are fireworks, they will likely all be hiding under the blankets! Happy New Year from my furry family to yours!

Me, Gabriel and 75,000 others are currently watching the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam live feed – here’s the link –http://www.dickpritchettrealestate.com/eagle-feed.html – and hoping to see the babies hatch. Mom, “Harriet”, and dad, “M15” (short for male 2015) are busy taking turns sitting on the two eggs in their nest. One egg has a “pip”, which is the first break in the shell and that happened yesterday. It is so interesting to watch how mom and dad rearrange the eggs and warm them in preparation for hatching.

Whether you are inside looking out…or…outside looking in, the window displays in The Hotel Bethlehem (Bethlehem, Pa.) are always stunning at Christmas.

I love that point in the day just between sunlight and darkness when the lights are beginning to turn on in the city. The glow from the lights adds so much warmth to photographs. Both of these images are from Bethlehem, Pa., which is known as “The Christmas City”. Wandering through the historic district is to take a step back in time. The lamp posts are decorated with wreaths at Christmas and the Central Moravian Church on Main Street is a must-see stop on a walking tour of the city.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is a wonderful place to visit during the holiday season. I spent a few hours in the city capturing the historic downtown that was all decked out for Christmas. I’ll share a few favorite images over the next couple of days. These two photos were taken in the Historic Hotel Bethlehem on Main Street. They go all out with gorgeous decorations both indoors and out. The best part about the Hotel Bethlehem is that it is a pet friendly hotel!
