The Keystone Dock Dogs competition at Codorous Blast was awesome! There were so many high flying dogs that achieved personal best scores this weekend! I watched the Big Air competition which is the long jump for canines. Dog and handler start from a 40 foot dock. The handler throws a toy into the water and the dog runs as fast as 20 mph and jumps into the water to retrieve the toy. The current world record is 28’10”. I don’t know if the record was broken, but I saw some dogs jumping in the 22′ – 24′ range. The distance is measured from the end of the dock to the where the base of the dog’s tail breaks the water. So much fun to watch and oh so challenging to photograph!!

Somebody just got their summer haircut and is feeling much cooler while relaxing outside of the barn!

Savannah and Brewster almost never snuggle together, so when I saw THIS on the windowsill yesterday, I ran for the camera! I think Brewster was there first – snoozing in Savannah’s favorite spot. I can’t be certain, but odds are that Savannah pushed him over so she could have 3/4 of the bed. She’s such a pushy little thing and she loves to boss the boys around!

Another of my most favorite breeds – the Australian Cattle Dog. This pup looks regal, poised and confident in the lush grass at the Bucks County Kennel Club show last month.

Who wants to add a caption to this image? Mine would be, “Please oh please let me have a morsel of whatever he is eating!”
