I love it when the car show comes to town and I have a chance to do some graphic photography.  The lines, the colors, and in this case, the nearby buildings reflected across the back of the car!

These are homes (some still occupied) in the old mining village of Eckley, Pennsylvania.  The town was founded in 1854 and originally housed coal miners and their families so they would be in close proximity to the collieries.  At that time the population was about 1,000 people.  Today, less than 20.  The town has a museum and buildings open for tours during special events throughout the year.

….would not be a big fancy home in an exotic location.  It would be a tiny cottage with a white picket fence, flowers, and a balcony overlooking the ocean.  Yep, something just like this!

How could I take the elevator when this beautiful staircase was beckoning?  I love the colors and design!

Winter is my favorite time to visit Lancaster County, Pa.  The trees are bare and the fields cut back which allows the visitor a closer look at the beautiful barns and landscape.
