I was at the park to photograph snow geese, but the snow geese were no where to be found. So I turned my lens to other interesting things that I happened to see, like the clothing worn by these young girls. Florals, stripes, solids, and yes, sneakers! So cute!

A man and woman are walking their dog in the park. Mom and the kids spot the dog and instantly the little ones ask if they can go and see the puppy! Of course the dog loves the attention from so many little hands and there are plenty of smiles and giggles to go around! Instantly they are all best friends!

America’s Dog Show – Westminster – is right around the corner! Plan to watch both nights – February 11th and 12th – to see the Group and Best in Show judging. Here’s a link to the TV schedule on CNBC and USA Network: http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/2013/show/tv.html Last year’s TV viewing audience averaged over 2.6 million for the live telecast of the two nights of the show. Here’s one of my photos of the 2012 Best in Show, “Malachy”, (Gr. Ch. Palacegarden Malachy) from a shoot I did with him last March. Who will win Best in Show in 2013?

It was a cold and blustery day today, but that is perfect weather for this Husky and his owner who were out for a walk in Historic Bethlehem, Pa. In contrast to the days before Christmas, the streets of downtown Bethlehem were a little empty, even though the Christmas carols were still being played throughout the shopping district. Everyone was inside the beautifully decorated stores or the elegant Hotel Bethlehem, trying to stay warm. I must admit, I didn’t stay outside very long myself! Brrrrr!

One of the best things about The National Dog Show Presented by Purina is that it’s a benched show, meaning that the dogs and handlers must remain in their benching area when not in the show ring. This gives everyone an opportunity to meet the dogs, learn about the breeds, and talk with the owners/handlers. I saw so many families at the show and the kids were just ooohing and ahhhing over all of the dogs! It was so much fun to watch! Of course, the dogs loved all of the attention, too! Here’s a photo of a little boy getting acquainted with a cute Boxer.
