Lensbaby Tulips IV

The tulips were starting to wilt, so I just HAD to photograph them one more time. Soon the bulbs will be planted in the garden and next year I can photograph them all over again! Whoo hoo! These were shot indoors with the Lensbaby Composer and Soft Focus Optic. So which do you prefer….landscape or portrait?
Love ’em both, but for me in this moment in time, the landscape offers more light, more color, less stems. I like your arrangement and the translucent quality. We are accustomed to seeing tulips as vertical compositions, so the landscape is a refreshing sight. But, as we all know: we take BOTH versions and decide later!
Hi Betsy. I really enjoyed the whole Lensbaby Tulip series. Nice job working those tulips for all their worth. While I think the vertical comp works better, I find myself preferring the landscape. It focuses in more on the lovely colors. Nice work.
I was hoping you would have been able to join us this past weekend. It was a good time.
