This pretty flower grew out of a planter that last year contained nothing but weeds.  I’m not sure what it is or where it came from, but it was worthy of photographing with the Lensbaby Composer and soft focus optic.  I wonder what other surprises I’ll find in the garden this year.  I’m awaiting delivery of an order of 100 flower bulbs – iris, gladiola, oriental lilies, purple liatris, and montbretia.  I will have my work cut out for me when they arrive, but I’m sure to have plenty to photograph this summer….fingers crossed!
