Is My Nose Yellow?

My nose must be yellow from sniffing honeysuckle tonight while photographing! I just adore the fragrance and my vine is in full bloom. Before I realized it, I had snapped 212 images and spent an hour and a half in the garden! I used my 100mm macro, Lensbaby 3G, Lensbaby Composer, the Lensbaby soft focus optic and various macro attachments and came away with some interesting images. Many have an abstract feel and I paid careful attention to the background so that I would have some color from the grass or other flowers. I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more honeysuckle images in the days to come……2 more are below.

I think I can smell the honeysuckle on my screen…
I like these, 1 & 2 a lot, not so much #3. We have a ridge in the backyard that is covered with honeysuckle and the fragrance in the evening is glorious. I have often thought of shooting some photos of it…now I am REALLY inspired to give it a go.
Good stuff, Betsy!
Thanks for your comments Sam. I know you will create remarkable images of the honeysuckle in your yard. Can’t wait to see them!
