Today is the day that the boats must be removed from the water at the lake.  Beginning tomorrow, all remnants of summer will be removed – docks, buoys, and these rope floats.  These are the floats that separate the swimming area from the boating/water skiing area on the water.  Such a contrast seeing them with the reflected color from the trees.  I’m thankful that the boats and docks were allowed to be left in the water a little longer this year as they make a nice focal point for Fall photoraphy.  I spent a little while photographing before sunset yesterday enjoying the last light of the day.
