I love love love this image of Bernese Mountain Dog, Jolie, and her handler, Kasey! They were in the ring at the Chester Valley Kennel Club show on Saturday when Kasey leaned in to give Jolie a kiss. Jolie has the sweetest expression, don’t you agree?

Each year, a lovely Cape Cod style home in Tamaqua, Pa. draws visitors from far and wide to admire their Spring garden. Affectionately known as “The Tulip House”, thousands upon thousands of tulips, hydrangea, and other Spring flowers bloom in a chorus of picturesque color! The garden is mapped out and each bulb placed by hand in a new design every year. The home and gardens are the pride and joy of the Kehlor Family and a visit should be on your list of must-see places in Pennsylvania!

Meet German Shorthaired Pointer, Rosie, River Run’s Sophisticated Lady. Rosie is the daughter of one of my favorite dogs, Scarlet (GCh. Skypoint’s Our River Runs Free), who is now retired from the ring and enjoying a life of leisure in Vermont! Rosie and handlers Cliff Steele and Laura Kieffer had a great weekend at the Bucks County and Trenton Kennel Club Shows! I look forward to watching her walk in her mommy’s paw-steps!

Outdoor dog shows in Spring can often be hit or miss weather-wise, but this past weekend was picture perfect in Pennsylvania for the Bucks County Kennel Club show. It’s one of my favorite shows of the year with lots of dogs, spectators, and photo opportunities! Here’s Greg Strong with the Lowchen in the Non-Sporting Group judging.

I knew that it was only a matter of time before I could no longer resist the Lensbaby Velvet 56. This is the newest lens produced by the always creative Lensbaby team. It’s a manual portrait AND macro lens that is 56mm and f/1.6 and yields the softness that I love for flower photography. I just can’t put it down! Thank you Lensbaby!
