I love gazebos and this is an especially pretty one. The location isn’t bad either! I was initially drawn to this spot when I noticed trees with vivid yellow leaves as I was driving past and so I had to find my way in for a closer look. When I arrived, the gazebo and red barn were a pleasant surprise! There is a nice butterfly garden here as well. It was a worthwhile “Whoa, stop!” moment!

One of my most favorite places in the whole world is the water lily display at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa. I could spend DAYS there photographing the lotus and water lilies. The flowers bloom from late May through mid-October, so if you want to see them, you are running short on time. I think this variety is called Nymphaea Aquarius. I love the combination of purple and sunshine yellow! How can you not smile when you see beautiful flowers like this?

I love seeing all of the water droplets on plants and flowers … and in this case the fuzzy ends of decorative grasses … after a rainstorm. Mother Nature creates art all around us. We just have to keep our eyes open and be looking for it!
