The lavender farm was teeming with photographers who were posing families, babies, friends … you name it … with the flowers!  I saw a woman with a toddler and she was carrying this chair into the field with a plan in mind to photograph the baby seated in the chair right smack dab in the middle of the lavender plants.  Before the little girl was brought into the scene, I took advantage of the few seconds that I had to grab a shot of just the empty chair and the flowers.  I was shooting with a 70-200mm lens and this was probably shot at 200mm, thus the out of focus flowers in the foreground, which I love!  This is my favorite image from the evening in the garden!

What a wonderful spot for relaxing and enjoying the delightful fragrance of lavender!  I could stay here allllll day long!

On this winter day at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, the puffy white clouds looked like cotton balls in the sky.  I think I stop to photograph these 3 trees at least once during my visits to Middle Creek every year.  They always catch my attention as I drive past them on the tour road.

What a perfect Saturday afternoon in the park!  Sunshine, warm weather, good friends, and beautiful scenery!

I just had to stop on the way to work to photograph this foggy sunrise on the lake! There is no better way to start the day!  Being a few minutes late for work was worth it!  🙂
