She’s our Seal Point diva and princess of her kingdom. The boys love and fear her at the same time because she obviously rules the roost that we all call home. One minute she will be kissing Gabriel’s head and the next swatting him for no apparent reason other than “Mom, he looked at me!” She loves to snuggle on the couch to watch TV, dines on the kitchen counter so the boys don’t steal her food, and loves ear scratches. Her favorite spots to nap are on the windowsill during the day and the bottom of the bed at night. She is overflowing with “cattitude” and we adore her!

It’s been a banner year for our honeysuckle vine. Maybe the never-ending rain in Spring was a good thing after all! Last year I wasn’t sure if the vine would survive after moving it onto a new arbor, but I’m very happy with this years bloom. Honeysuckle is one of my all-time favorite scents! I could stand in the garden and smell the sweet fragrance forever! This Spring I added this little birdhouse in the hopes of having some feathered friends to watch. I’m really turning into a “Bird Nerd”! 🙂

After a very long winter, I think it’s finally safe to say that Spring has sprung! It’s so nice to see some color in the landscape!

My Easter tulips are still blooming, although today’s rain may have wiped them out! Now if only I could plant them in the Fall and not have the squirrels dig up the bulbs and run off with them, I would be happy! (Photographed with the Lensbaby Velvet 56 which gives a softness to the image that I LOVE!)
