When I look at this image, I can smell the wonderfully fragrant lavender plants that filled the farm. Imagine opening your windows on a summer morning and welcoming in that wonderful scent! I’ve added 3 lavender plants to my garden and…with any luck…maybe I can do exactly that!

I’ve been seeing these babies around the community for several weeks. Finally mom brought them to our house. She was likely getting them acquainted with the path to our garden where they can dine on shrubs and flowers in the summer and bird seed in the winter! While mom was busy in the woods, the two little ones were investigating the garden. Aren’t they adorable?!

This little girl and her dad were admiring the lavender at the farm. If you look really closely, you can see that she has a bunch of flowers in her hand. This is just one of those places that you never want to leave because the scenery and the fragrance are so beautiful!

I couldn’t wait to download my images from a recent visit to the lavender farm! The fragrance of the lavender was wonderful! The best part is that if you wish you could bottle that fragrance and remember it forever, there are lots of options for bringing home lavender scented gifts! Bunches of plants are cut, tied together and hung upside down to dry before being used for soaps, lotions, sachets, dried arrangements and more.
