At least it’s a different tulip…pink instead of peach! I like the striations created by the leaves in the background of this shot. It was created with the Lensbaby Composer and soft focus optic … love this lens for macro flower photography! 🙂

This is a different composition on a daffodil image than what I would normally shoot. Every Spring the daffodils bloom and every Spring I photograph them, so each year I need to try and be more creative. This was photographed with the Lensbaby Composer plus the soft focus optic and a macro lens or two. What I like about it is the painting-like feeling compliments of the Lensbaby.

The tulips were starting to wilt, so I just HAD to photograph them one more time. Soon the bulbs will be planted in the garden and next year I can photograph them all over again! Whoo hoo! These were shot indoors with the Lensbaby Composer and Soft Focus Optic. So which do you prefer….landscape or portrait?

I know that by now I am probably boring regular blog visitors to tears with all of the Lensbaby tulip images, but I just love the abstract feel of these shots. The Lensbaby Composer and soft focus optic are a perfect combination for macro flower photography. I enhanced this image with a Fractalius filter in Photoshop. Fun stuff!
