Do you know this breed? It’s currently being shown in the Miscellaneous class and is called the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje. The name is pronounced KOY KER HOUND YEH and means Dutch Decoy Dog. They only come in one color – red and white with black markings and are often used for search and rescue as well as service dogs. They just became eligible to enter the Miscellaneous class last July and have been assigned the Sporting Group designation. Their little whiskers remind me of a cat!

Sending along Easter greetings from me and my furry family, Brewster, Savannah and Gabriel. Gabriel isn’t yet ready for prime time when it comes to sitting still for photos. He’s still a kitten (10 months) and hasn’t yet learned the ropes from Brewster on how to sit pretty for a photo. As you can see from these photos, Brewster has pretty much mastered being a super model. Hope everyone had a great holiday!
